One of LIWDA's guiding principles is that we can influence government at all levels
by acting locally. We increase our power by attending county, township, village, and
school board meetings.

Most LIWDA members participate in one or more of our ACTION GROUPS, which
meet monthly at various venues and focus more closely on specific issues than is
